
Megan
Driscoll, founder of Presidio Fitness, has been
active in the San Francisco fitness industry for 10 years as a personal
trainer, triathlete and former Division I athlete. She received
her undergraduate degree in Health, Sports and Recreation at Saint
Mary's College in Moraga, and her Masters Degree from Boston University
in Sports and Recreation. Megan has studied extensively under Mark
Verstegan, founder and president of Athlete’s
Performance - the world's leader in the training of elite athletes
– in Tempe, Arizona. Megan has combined her education, passion
and contagious enthusiasm for fitness and wellness to create the
integrated programs at Presidio Fitness.
Megan
is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Jakki
Flaherty
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Jakki graduated from Cal Poly, SLO in June 2005 with a B.S. in Kinesiology
and a minor in Sports Nutrition. Throughout her time at Cal Poly
she was very active in the community, coaching junior high basketball,
and volleyball. Her passion for sports and training led her to research
and create a plyometric training program for Middle and High School
students, that was based on functional movement, and took into consideration
the physiology of the growing body.
After
graduating from Cal Poly, her studies led her to Athletes'
Performance in Tempe, Arizona. While in Tempe, she
immersed herself in the methodology and training techniques of the
founder, renowned strength and conditioning specialist Mark Verstegen,
and his staff of highly specialized individuals. Jakki uses her
athletic background and passion for fitness to create fitness programs
that help every individual achieve their goals.
Jakki
is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a member
of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM.)
Jesse
Thomas
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Jesse graduated from California State University Chico in December
2004 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Nutrition.
While at Chico, his research focused on improving the body’s
core concepts (speed, range of motion, balance, coordination, compactness,
number/nature of segments, extension at release, and intensity of
effort). He has designed intense sport specific training programs
for athletes in nearly every competitive sport. His extensive training
experience ranges form sports performance and physical therapy to
working with mentally and physically handicapped adults. Jesse was
an assistant Strength Coach at Pleasant Valley High School and has
competed professionally as an all natural body builder.
Jesse
is currently attending Graduate School at San Francisco State University,
working towards his Masters of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration
in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition.
Jesse

of the National Academy of sports medicine (NASM), as well as the
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
